Start Again Tomorrow

In my reflection all I see
is a face of a man that doesn't look like me
There are no traces of a smile
but I'm moving on -- regretting's not my style

It's no mystery how I wound up here, but I have to wonder still
What would it feel like if I said "screw the fear" and let fate do what it will?
I'll start again tomorrow

So once again I end up here
on a roundabout of love that ends in tears
I'm sorry you had to be the one
that was standing by to see me come undone

And I suspect it's no consolation to you, that I know I've caused you pain
and that I learned from all that we've been through, and it wasn't all in vain
It wasn't all in vain
I'll start again tomorrow

I taste your tears they're streaming down
I speak but nothing's spoken
I feel release as it spins round
Yet still your heart is broken

I don't know what else to do
but start again tomorrow
I'll start again tomorrow
